The VHOLUME Soundtrack has its own Steam listing ($7.00 USD), released alongside the game’s August 21, 2026 launch. Unusually, the soundtrack listing supports Windows, macOS and Linux — you can buy the music even where the game itself is Windows-only.

Tracks from the score also circulate through the composer’s Bandcamp presence, which search data shows is where a lot of listeners land — if you prefer DRM-free files and more of the money reaching the artist, check Bandcamp before buying on Steam.

Why the Music Hits

VHOLUME is described by its own developers as melancholic first — before parkour, before brutalism — and the score carries most of that weight. The music leans sparse and mournful over the concrete, then opens up as your momentum builds; it is doing the emotional storytelling the nearly-wordless city can’t.

It’s the same trick the developers’ earlier game BABBDI pulled — free game, unforgettable atmosphere, music doing the heavy lifting — and VHOLUME’s fuller production doubles down on it.

• The game ships Custom Volume Controls (a Steam accessibility feature flag) — music, effects and dialogue can be balanced independently, which matters if you’re grinding gold medals and want the music lower than your footstep audio cues.
