VHOLUME is a melancholic first-person parkour adventure by Nathan Grange, Léonard Lemaitre and Niels Tiercelin — the developers of the free cult game BABBDI — published by IronEqual. You play Robert, running, climbing and sliding through a derelict brutalist capital to restore his family's revoked ration tickets. It released on Steam on August 21, 2026.

VHOLUME is a paid game at $7.99 USD on Steam (it launched with a 10% discount). It is not free-to-play, but a free demo — expanded in June 2026 with multiplayer and extra maps — is still available on the Steam page.

The game is spelled VHOLUME — a deliberate play on 'volume'. It is unrelated to Mike Bithell's 2015 stealth game Volume, and searching 'volume game' mostly returns math tools, so keep the H when you search.

There are 31 main levels and 31 unlockable B-Side levels, plus a credits level. Each main level hides at least one collectable that unlocks its B-Side — see our level list and B-Side locations guides.

A run through the 31 main levels takes most players a handful of hours; chasing all bronze/silver/gold medal times, every NPC and all 31 B-Sides multiplies that considerably. The 14 achievements track exactly that completionist path.

Yes. You can play every level with friends in online multiplayer, see and race other players' ghosts, and share your own. Steam lists Online PvP, and Steam Workshop support lets you play community-made levels.

Yes. The official Discord server is linked from the game's Steam community, and players gather on r/VHOLUME on Reddit, a subreddit created about two months before launch.
